Platycodon Grandiflorus Extract Platycodin Platycodin D is a major active component extracted from platycodin, which has a variety of pharmacological effects, including but not limited to the following aspects:

1. Anti-inflammatory effect:

Platycodon Grandiflorus Extract Platycodin  can inhibit the activation of NF-κB, which can inhibit the expression of iNOS and COX-2 induced by lipopolysaccharide (LPS), 

and also inhibit the production of LPS-induced inflammatory cytokines, such as PGE2.

2. Hypoglycemic effect:

By enhancing the activity of AMP-activated protein kinase (AMPK) α, platycodon D can inhibit the expression of peroxidase proliferator-activated receptor (PPAR) γ2 and CCAAT/ enhancer binding protein (C/EBP) α, thereby enhancing lipid metabolism and inhibiting lipogenesis and accumulation.

3. Anti-tumor effect:
